The legendary ninth Pink-Floyd album finally back on vinyl
This is what vinyl lovers among Pink Floyd fans have been eagerly waiting for. The rock legends release all their albums bit by bit as LPs. In June 2016 the first four albums of the band started, in August and September more albums followed. Now the series will be continued once again with "Wish You Were Here".
"Wish You Were Here" is the ninth longplayer by Pink Floyd. The album was originally released on 15 September 1975 and the recordings of the five songs took place between January and July 1975 at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
The songs "Welcome To The Machine" and "Have A Cigar", in which guest singer Roy Harper can be heard, reflect Pink Floyd's views on the music industry. The titles "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and "Wish You Were Here" pay homage to former band member Syd Barrett.
"Wish You Were Here" reached the top of the charts in Great Britain
